As a sub-brand of Hebei Sinostar Group, Homelux-a specialist in cordless garden tools-remains committed to building a green, responsible, and globally competitive brand. In response to the European Union's tightening ESG regulatory framework taking effect in 2024, Homelux is actively implementing the Group's sustainability strategy, advancing ESG practices across its product development, supply chain collaboration, and brand operations to strengthen our position in international markets.
Proactively Addressing Europe's Evolving ESG Landscape
The enactment of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) marks a new era of ESG enforcement for global supply chain participants. Homelux is aligning with these emerging compliance standards by linking environmental, social, and governance initiatives under Sinostar Group's centralized ESG governance framework-laying a solid foundation for future carbon transparency, social due diligence, and sustainability disclosures.
As a manufacturer of garden tools, Homelux prioritizes environmental responsibility across the entire lifecycle of our products-from raw material sourcing to transportation. Beginning in 2025, we will prioritize procurement from certified "Zero Emissions Factories", which meet rigorous benchmarks across six categories: zero wastewater, zero exhaust emissions, zero VOCs, zero environmental complaints, zero accidents, and zero regulatory breaches.
At the same time, Homelux is progressing toward ISO 14064 carbon accounting certification, enabling quantifiable emissions tracking that will support future adoption of carbon labeling, disclosures, and alignment with the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
Homelux is also piloting new-energy logistics solutions to reduce "last-mile" emissions and offer customers a more sustainable delivery experience.
Homelux upholds Sinostar Group's 15-year legacy of social commitment through the "Cheng Yi Fund", supporting education and welfare programs for children in underprivileged regions. Internally, the brand promotes a "people-first" workplace culture, ensuring full employee benefits, career development pathways, and a safe, inclusive work environment.
Through the "Sinostar Online Business School", Homelux provides continuous training across all levels of the organization-helping employees grow in parallel with the company's long-term sustainability goals.
At the governance level, Homelux follows a unified ESG framework guided by Sinostar Group's ESG Committee. This structure ensures strategic alignment, systematic execution, and robust internal controls-from goal setting and performance tracking to disclosure and improvement cycles.
Regular reviews and cross-functional collaboration are key to enhancing ESG maturity and building a trustworthy brand profile in global markets.
Moving Toward a Safer, More Beautiful World
In the face of tightening international ESG requirements, Homelux continues to act on Sinostar Group's mission: "Build a Safer, More Beautiful World." Whether through eco-conscious product design or responsible growth operational practices, Homelux is driving the garden power tool industry toward a greener, smarter, and more accountable future.
Looking ahead, Homelux will deepen its ESG roadmap with a global perspective, collaborating with customers and partners to build a transparent, resilient, and sustainable value network-and shape a better world for generations to come.
